…to the final AgentFocus edition of 2015! It’s been an amazing year with lots of developments that we want to share with you – from acquisitions to awards and of course continuing advances in the technology we’re putting at your fingertips.

2015 was the year when Mobile Travel Technologies and Hotelzon joined the Travelport family, not only increasing the content available but also giving agents more smart ways to work and book travel.

On the product front, we’ve released 3 new versions of Smartpoint this year and also signed up 60 new airlines – making a total of 120 – to our branded fares and ancillaries offer (hard to believe it’s only a year since this launched).

The Smartpoint Certification process has been in full swing and getting good feedback from those completing it. “I think I’m learning more about Smartpoint now than I have in the previous year put together!” was a quote from one happy agent.

It’s been another award-winning year for Travelport. In the UK alone we scooped ‘Best Technology Provider’ title at the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) Awards, 'Best Business Development Team' at The People Awards 2015, Best Air/Rail distribution solution at the GARA Awards and Travel Technology Business of the Year at the TTG (Travel Trade Gazette).
